Carolyn’s Notary is a bonded, licensed and PennDOT authorized messenger service that has served Lititz and the surrounding area for the past 32 years. Our goal is to provide excellent service through an experienced, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our desire is to ease the confusion that can come from navigating the complex system of today’s rules and regulations. We keep up with the newest technology to provide you with the most convenient and prompt service available.

Our History
Carolyn’s Notary Service has been part of the Lititz community for decades. Carolyn Adams first opened the business as a sole proprietor, later incorporating it in 2001 while operating on Main Street in Lititz. Years later, the office relocated to its current home at 58 Copperfield Circle.
In August 2010, Carolyn sold the business to John Irwin. What makes this story unique is that John is the son-in-law of Dean Weinhold—Carolyn’s very first customer when she opened her doors. Today, John and his wife Melissa, who both live in Lititz and are active in the community, own Carolyn’s Notary Service together with their business partners Dean and Linda Weinhold, and Adam Galante.
What began as the purchase of a small-town notary has since grown into a family of successful businesses, including Compliance Navigation Specialists Inc., serving the transportation industry nationwide; CNS Insurance, writing policies in 37 states; CNS Driver Training Center, the first PA Department of Education–approved CDL school for online theory and one-on-one training; and CNS Occupational Medicine, delivering white-glove occupational health services through both clinics and mobile units.
Even with this growth, Carolyn’s Notary and Auto Tags remains a cornerstone of the business and a proud service to the local community. Our commitment to providing friendly, reliable, and personal service in Lititz and the surrounding area is at the heart of everything we do.
